This year has been a great one. Finished the album back in June which i am so proud of. I worked with some amazing people on it, and reached some personal goals with it in making a record that mirrors my heroes and goes somewhere new. I'm so excited to get it out to you and hear your views. It's taken a long time to get here, 4 years, but it's all been amazing and i'm proud of where it's at.
Looking back on this year we've played in some great shows, played the London o2 arena 6 times, which was mad! And all over some of the best venues in Europe. It's mad, we've played to around 500,000 people on tour with Girls Aloud and Beyonce. It was a total honor to be asked to support Beyonce. She inspired me on so many levels, not only as an artist, and we made some great friends with her crew and band.
Touring America for the first time was probably the highlight of 2009! Playing in Portland, San Francisco, San Diego and Hollywood, to thousands of people all singing and dancing to the songs, left me so happy flying back to London. I am coming back next year, touring and release the record and can't wait to play in more cities, we were sorry to only make the West coast.
We've just finished the mix of my first main release, which is out in March, and i'm jumping up and down about it. Some hot remixes from Don Diablo, Devils Gun, Future Cut and DJ Yasmin all coming to you very soon...!
I want to thank ALL of you who follow me on twitter, write to me on myspace, send me your versions of my songs and those who came out to see us play in the U.S, and UK shows.
